Several years ago the Providence school department managed to leave a several busloads of kids stranded until 11 pm. The superintendent lost his job. Now, whenever somebody drops a snow cone, they cancel school.
It’s 8 am and there are three inches on the ground. None on the highways and main roads.
The founders of this great experiment are shaking their heads, rolling their eyes and snickering at us.
